Seller FAQs

Quick answers for independent sellers trading on Haan or thinking about applying.

How does seller approval work?

Haan reviews each application before approving a seller to trade. Approval is not automatic, and Haan may ask for extra business, identity, product, fulfilment, or compliance information before granting access.

Does every product go live immediately?

No. Haan may require listings to go through moderation or review before they become visible on the public storefront. Products can also be blocked, removed, or suspended if they breach law, policy, quality standards, or marketplace rules.

Who handles fulfilment?

Sellers are responsible for preparing and fulfilling their orders, including accurate handling times, dispatch confirmation, and any collection or self-delivery commitments they offer through the platform.

Can sellers use customer data for their own marketing?

No, not by default. Customer data shared with a seller should be used only for order fulfilment, customer service, legal compliance, and other permitted purposes. Sellers must not add customers to independent mailing lists or reuse their data for unrelated marketing unless they have a separate lawful basis and all required notices and consents.

Where are fees and payouts set out?

Commercial terms such as fees, commissions, payout timing, settlement mechanics, and clawbacks should be set out in the seller onboarding pack, dashboard, or separate commercial schedule, together with the seller terms.
